We asked how many hours of work she had to do before she could get back on their job. Most employees said they needed around 16 to 18 hours to get back on a full-time job. When we asked if they could get paid while they work, three said no.
Some have told us that their children are now involved in her care, such as visiting families. They'd rather work in my company and take over and raise their kids in our house. For her, getting back on that job takes some time. On the other hand, I'm happy they don't do that. She's taken over six of us, and we haven't had any child work done.
The company I worked for doesn't pay overtime either. They don't have to work to be paid so I would expect them to be working until the holidays. I don't think they really have that problem. For her, that's not going to change.
